Rohan & Prernaa
There are weddings, and then there are weddings that leave you completely in awe—Prernaa and Rohan’s was one of those. From the moment we arrived at Oleander Farms, perched on that serene hilltop as the sun dipped low in the sky, I knew this was going to be something special. But it wasn’t just the beautiful setting or the golden light; it was the way every detail of this day seemed to tell their love story.
Rohan, a photographer and mixed-media artist, and Prernaa, the creative genius behind "Something Sustainable," didn’t just plan a wedding—they crafted an experience that was so uniquely them. We could feel their energy in every little detail, from the eco-friendly decor to the vintage Ambassador they chose for their entrance. And that entrance—oh, what a moment. Instead of the usual baraat, they decided to walk into their ceremony together, hand in hand. Watching them take those steps side by side, with their friends and family cheering them on, was a moment we will never forget. It was so clear how much love and respect they have for each other, and it set the tone for the entire day.
The ceremony itself was deeply personal, too. They chose a Vedic ceremony but made it their own, picking rituals that really meant something to them. Skipping the kanyadaan and opting for just four pheras felt like such a powerful statement about their commitment to walking through life together as equals.
As we captured their day, we couldn’t help but feel connected to the way they approached everything—with intention, love, and a deep sense of who they are. It’s no wonder Vogue Magazine picked up on their story. This was more than just a wedding—it was a celebration of two incredible people, their values, and the beautiful life they’re building together. Being a part of it, even just as their photographer, was a true honor.
